The Biqu B1 is a wonderful 3D printer that has a lot to offer to it’s users. The B1 has multiple features on offer at an affordable price. On another note, the Biqu B1 3D printer comes in two different colours, black and pink. Of course, being a woman, I had to choose pink. I have always wanted a girly 3D printer, but all I seemed to find were STL files for slot covers that you can 3D print in any colour. The Biqu B1 that I call pinky (haha) was perfect for me in colour, but does it have the quality that it states? Let’s find out.
Unboxing The Biqu B1 3D Printer
First of all, the packaging of the Biqu B1 3D printer arrives in is perfect. All parts are in their own compartment nice snug fit so nothing will move during transport. There are two layers, first one being with the aluminium extrusion, brackets to hold the x carriage, a thank you note, 5 clear bags that are labeled with parts and tools in them and, of course, the instructions.

For the second layer I revealed the true prize, the Biqu B1 3D printer comes party assembled with the bed already attached, the hotend is all assembled so makes this less time to put all together. It also includes the filament run out sensor that sits beside the extruder tensioning lever. You have the X and Z stepper motors. Just WOW! how stunning does the anodised pinky purple look? Very pleased with the unboxing.
Biqu B1 Instructions
It’s not often you see explicit instructions on how to build a 3D printer. Well done to Biqu how clear, vibrant and detailed these are. Simple to follow. I would say 30 minutes tops to be fully assembled with all cables in place.
How To Assemble The Biqu B1 3D Printer
Main Specifications of the Biqu B1 3D printer
Build Volume
The Biqu B1 3D printer has a build volume of 235 x 235 x 270 mm. This build volume is substantially large when compared to other printers of the same budget and category.
Control Board
The printer contains the BTT TFT35 V3.0 Touch screen for a dual operating system.
Operating System
The control board make is SKR V1.4 operating at 32 bit.
Night Vision Option
With being cool, the Biqu B1 3D printer has something special to offer to its users. The night vision mode has a multi-color option that can be operated for printing operations at night. This is a really cool feature and the user who wants a little fun while printing can get a lot out of this feature.
Filament Sensor
The filament sensor option of the printer allows for the auto-detection of the filament. Furthermore, it also helps in the auto-stop of the print function on filament run out.
Printing Speed
Biqu B1 offers a max printing speed of 30-60mm/s. This is an extremely good speed for the price category in which the printer is available.
Rapid Heating of the Bed
Due to the AC mains power connection with the heating bed, the heating occurs directly on the AC supply. This makes the heating of the bed fast and reliable. Therefore, you get the heat on the bed within 5 minutes of starting your printing operation.
Connectivity
The printer offers multiple connection options. These include Wi-fi connection for when you are online. Therefore, you will be able to upload your print files via the internet. However, there is also an option of SD card for uploading your designs when you are not connected to the internet. I always use an SD card just in case I lose internet connection due to my Wi-FI being terrible.
Support Material
Biqu B1 supports PLA, ABS, PETG and other filaments for printing. Thus, you can play with multiple printing options on this printer.
Nozzle Diameter
The standard nozzle available for the printer is 0.4 mm. However, you can also use other replacement options for variation in prints.
Multiple Language Support
One of the best options for users all over the world is support for 15 languages. This option makes it easy for users to use this printer from all around the world without having to worry about the limitation with operating language.
The Triple S Feature
Another famous feature of the printer is the triple S. Which stands for Spring Steel Sheet +. it’s also a removable platform.
Customer Notice
If the customer needs to replace the main board, adapter board, and Type C line by their self, you must pay attention to:
- For the main board wiring, you need to pay attention to the line of the heating rod, and the line sequence cannot be wrong.
- The adapter board must be connected according to the wiring diagram Biqu provides.
- You can only use the Type C line that is provided by BIQU. No other lines are suitable.
Biqu B1 3D Printer FDM 3D prints

Ultrafast And Economical Stringing Test
Unfortunately, I can not find the STL file I used, but here is one that is closest to what I 3D printed. This can be found on Thingiverse under the designer s3sebastian. There are already many calibrations and tests that you can 3D print to get rid of the stringing for your Biqu B1 3D printer. But this one is optimized so that you can print it quickly to achieve many iterations in a short time without wasting too much filament. As you can see, I printed 4 tests showing in the picture. The outcome of this was terrible. So many more calibration prints later I had got it to almost perfect, slight wisps with nothing major.
The Marvelous 3DBenchy
So with every 3D printer I have tested, without a doubt I print the famous 3DBenchy, which can be found on Thingiverse designed by Creative Tools. For those who are new to 3D printing, the benchy is one of many torture tests designed for calibrating your 3D printer. Or if you want a fun, quick model for a child to play in the bath with, this is the one. My 7 year cousin loves to play with these. Creative Tools have designed different variants from a single-part STL file for 3D printing the boat in one material, and a multi-part STL file assembly perfect for multi-material/printhead 3D printing.
Filament Vase For Beautiful Flowers
I found this 3D model on Cults for £1.24 now you probably can find it free on other sites, but for the price I couldn’t refuse it would not break my bank. It is designed by 3D WINNIPEG and has been downloaded 1.1k times. This vase allows for simple customization by inserting strands of your favorite filament into the grooves in the vase to add a stunning look to any flower arrangement. Print in vase mode 0.4mm or 0.8mm nozzle are both possible. Perfect gift for mother’s day or valentines..
3DTomorrow Astro Supergiant Red PLA Filament
Astro Supergiant Red Glitter PLA Filament is a vibrant red with a subtle glitter effect. Which still has the pearl shining throughout the 3D model. So I would recommend choosing this filament if you’re looking for a vibrant red. If you are into 3D blood and gore models or making fake blood droplets, then this is the perfect colour for you. You can also use it in a 3D pen to produce blood droplets.

Chip Beauty and the Beast
So this is Chip The little cup with a chip on the side from the 1991 animated movie. Chaos Core created the model in Fusion 360 using the sculpting environment to get the main shape. Then he finished up the face details with sketches. The 3D model of Chip from Beauty and the Beast printed perfect without any issues.

3DTomorrow Astro Indigo Starlight PLA Filament
Unlike most glitter filaments, Astro Indigo Starlight is a deep, deep glitter filament that will definitely leave an impact on you. Depending on the type of lighting environment used to light up the 3D printed model, different patterns of colors can be achieved. Therefore, if the photograph is taken under natural light, it appears to be a vibrant Indigo Blue. It is indeed quite purple in low light and in a professional photo booth it accentuates the colour of this Indigo Blue Glitter PLA Filament. There is no perfect 3D model to use this glitter PLA filament, as it is the WOW factor that is going to be produced with any 3D print.

Minnie Mouse With Love Statue
Developed by The Walt Disney Company, Minnie Mouse is a cartoon character. In addition to her bow, polka-dotted dress, white bloomers, and low-heeled shoes occasionally accented with ribbons, Sheena is an anthropomorphic mouse who has long been Mickey Mouse’s partner. Besides being classy, friendly, cool, sassy, cheerful, and well-mannered, Minnie is also feminine. She is kind to all her friends, loves to show affection, and knows how to behave. The 3D model of Minnie Mouse printed great the only issue I have is that behind the heart is not solid and trying to get support out of there is a pain.

3DTomorrow Astro Electric Lime PLA Filament
Astro Glitter Filament range consists of 11 products, of which not all will be added to production line. As far as I can tell, this Lime Green Filament could use glitter that is a different colour as the lime green really blends in with the glitter. As you can see from the picture of the 3D printed model of the Hulk, unless you zoom in close to the model, you cannot make out any glitter at all.
I suggest that if it will be placed on the production line; the glitter needs to be more visible. Having said that, I can’t fault the colour of the filament as it is a beautiful shade of lime green. In addition to that, I like Kawasaki motorbikes in particular the Ninja. I found this filament to be useful because the Ninja is known for having a lime green color. However, I need to find an STL file of this motorbike in order to print it.

Would I Buy It Again? –In my opinion, I would not really buy this glitter PLA. This one is a little too subtle, and it doesn’t really seem to have anything special about it.
Hulk Action Figure
The Incredible Hulk’ is a 2008 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character. The remix by 3DWP is FDM-friendly and support-free. It is fully printable with no supports at all. Unfortunately, this 3D model hasn’t been made properly. The underneath of the arms failed and there seems to be gaps on the arms. It had seemed to be printing fine at first, but when it got to that section, I didn’t see the point in stopping the print. Therefore, I have used a heat gun to smooth the part that had failed. I wouldn’t recommend wasting filament on the Hulk Action Figure 3D model.

3DTomorrow Astro Teal Stardust PLA Filament
I would have to say that the 3D Tomorrow Astro collection’s Teal Stardust Glitter PLA filament is by far my favourite. In general, I can’t describe in words the sheer brilliance of the glitter, the pearl effect and the color that stands out from all the other glitter. As I have taken the picture, it has the appearance that there are highlights and shadows on different parts of the printable model of Deadpool.

Which Is Better Matte Or Gloss – Both
Would I Buy It Again? – Absolutely, yes. There are sparkling flecks of glitter all over this filament, which makes it stand out.

The character Deadpool appears in American comics published by Marvel Comics. When Deadpool first appeared in The New Mutants and X-Force, he was depicted as a supervillain, but then became an antihero. Deathpool, whose real name is Wade Winston Wilson, is a disfigured mercenary with superhuman regeneration ability. A character known as the “Merc with a Mouth” constantly talks and jokes, even breaking the fourth wall for humorous effect.

Pennywise Female Version
Female PennyWise The Clown figurine for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers. To reduce the amount of filament needed for generated support, the designer has cut the model into parts. They have also given Female PennyWise’s boots, hands, platform’s stringers etc as separate assembly pieces. So you will receive the cleanest results possible, as shown in the picture printed marvelous on the Biqu B1 3D printer. If you are a fan of horror movies, then the female version of Pennywise is one for you. I truly loved printing and painting this model from Michel Ballares.

Where To Buy The Biqu B1
I paid £201.73 from Banggood for the Biqu B1 and for that fantastic price; It impressed me at how good this printer really was. Unfortunately, by the looks of it, Biqu no longer sells the B1 on Amazon UK. You can purchase from their website for $266.99 but only in the elegant black. Have they discontinued the pink version as I can not find any information on this?
