Launched in 2018, the Ender 3 series has raised the bar for budget 3D printers and has become a popular choice for professionals as well as beginners alike. With the launch of the Ender 3 Neo series early in August, the Ender 3 Neo series moves above and beyond its market-hit predecessors, offering a significantly improved user experience for 3D printing enthusiasts across the globe. With the official purchase guide from Creality, it will guide you through the nuances in specs of each model in the Neo series, and be able to pick the one that suits you best. Will it be the Ender 3 Neo, Ender 3 V2 Neo or the Ender 3 Max Neo.
As the suffix “Neo” suggests, the Ender 3 Neo 3D printer series is the next iteration of the original Ender 3, Ender 3 Pro, Ender 3 V2 and Ender 3 Max. Like their predecessors, the Neo 3D printers will feature simple design, open source compatibility, powerful performance, and an affordable price.
There is a long-held myth about budget 3D printers that they usually sacrifice quality for the sake of low prices, which is certainly not the case with the Neo printers. Featuring a full metal Bowden extruder and a corrugated heat sink for quick heat dissipation, the Ender-3 Neo series is capable of printing at a speed of up to 120mm/s due to its upgraded Bowden extruder.
As a result, all three Neo printers have been equipped with the CR-Touch automatic bed leveling system that does not exist in the older versions, allowing users to print without worrying about bed leveling. As long as you have a resume print function on the Neo series, you will have no need to fret about the sudden loss of power or the loss of filament. You will get a successful print without wasting any time or filament.

As far as large 3D printers are concerned, Creality Ender 3 Max Neo is certainly one of those printers that has made quite the impression since Creality released it early in August. There is no doubt that the Creality Ender 3 Max Neo 3D printer will be one of the most popular 3D printers available on the market for users to enjoy using in the future. We will discuss a lot of exceptional features of the Ender 3 Max Neo 3D printer in this review, so let’s get started with a brief overview of what this printer is all about.

The design of the Creality Ender 3 Max Neo is pretty much the same as its predecessors. However, the real distinguishing quality of Creality’s 3D printers is their performance and versatility, and the Ender 3 Max Neo is a shining example of that. For assembly, Creality Ender 3 Max Neo comes with 99% pre-assembled. You only need 10-20 minutes to put a few parts together in the first install, and then you can start printing straightly.
As part of our review of the Ender 3 Max Neo 3D printer, we will discuss some of the fundamental factors which contribute to the overall success of this machine. Considering buying the Ender 3 Max Neo depends on the features, the PROS, the CONS, the 3D print quality. Don’t just choose based on our opinion, but also take into account other users’ opinions when you consider buying the Ender 3 Max Neo as a whole.

Ender 3 Max Neo 3D Printer Features
Build Volume
The 300x300x320 mm build volume, you are able to print large 3D models at the same time or several small parts at the same time, thus increasing the efficiency of your printing and allowing you to take advantage of more creative possibilities.
Integrated Design
Although there is quite a lot that looks familiar to previous installments of the Ender series regarding its design, it is imperative to note that there are some significant differences which can also be observed in the Ender 3 Max Neo as well. First, the gantry of the printer is on the side, rather than being on top like it is on the Ender 3 Pro 3D printer.
This is also one reason the build volume of the model can be so large. The Ender 3 Max comes with an aluminum frame and a metal base shaped like an “H” that provides it with an “integrated” design structure that focuses on maintaining a smooth operation throughout the entire process.

3D Printer Filaments
The likelihood is that you will be able to print most of the common filament selections of PLA, ABS, PETG and TPU at these temperatures, since these are the most common ones and you should be able to print them easily.
3D Model Test Prints
I am very satisfied with the overall product, although there are only a few details that need to be fine tuned. Both PLA filaments work well with the Ender 3 Max Neo. As the name may suggest here is a useful 3D print that is a remixed version of SethBon’s Xbox One Controller Stand. There have been changes made to this design so that it uses less material than before. Besides this, it also works with Xbox X series controllers.

Cons Of The Ender 3 Max Neo 3D Printer
There is a problem with the filament sensor. As soon as the filament is inserted, it jams. Keep rotating the filament and cutting it thinner at the end to get it to go in. There have been a couple of occasions when inserting the PLA has taken about ten minutes.
There is quite a bit of noise coming from the fans, especially in a small space. One of the problems with this printer is that it is way too loud for me to keep it in the bedroom. Therefore, I will have to take it out to the garage to keep it from disturbing others.
