What’s new?
Since the last article, the EasyThreeD office has developed a new printer called the “Magnum“. Larger size compared to the others but you can see the specs below. I look forward to reading about this more and seeing how it performs!
The Printers
EasyThreed currently has a range of seven 3D printers. Some of the names of these printers are of cartoon characters and planets. The reason for naming them this way is that they are easy to remember and it’s fun for kids too! Here is a list of the EasyThreed printer names.
All are FDM printers with an enclosed box design apart from the Mercury and Mars that have a different model.
Printer Filament
There isn’t much information on the printer filament they produce. On the site, they list ABS, PLA & Wood.

EasyThreed DORA 3D Printer Review For Kids In Mind – By Scott Masson – Model, Setup, and Help. The “Setup” screen walks the user through loading the filament. Most of the loading process is automatic, and the only manual part is inserting the filament.

Best 3D Printer for Beginners? – By DarkFall – I think one of the main reasons (apart from justifying the cost to a Partner/Parent), is the lack of information. I have been asked many times; “How does it work?” and “I bet it’s complicated.”

EasyThreeD Nano 3D Printer Review – Is It Good For Kids? – By 3D Printing Bird – All in all, this is a great little printer that you can take with you anywhere with ease, thanks to its small size and lightweight. A good starting point for the young ones but with adult supervision and expertise! Not the best prints you can get right out the box, but with some tweaks to the settings, this could be as good as any other printer plus the fact it can handle more than just PLA. A ‘would’ buy for me.
The Future?
This year, EasyThreed is planning to release a new product. However, I currently have no more information on this. When asked how they see the future of 3D printing, they said that 3D printing would be everywhere in our future life

I like how easy and simple these Printers are. Anyone can use them. I did a review on the “Nano” and the “Dora” and found both of them to be a pleasure to use. It’s also great to see the other printers they have to offer. It seems each of them have their own unique points.
It’s also interesting to see what they will create in the future, and I will certainly be keeping an eye out for what that may be.
Nice post, thanks for the info.

Thanks for your comment!
I currently have the Nano and will be doing a future article on this.
It has its pros and cons, but its not bad as a starter printer!
Yes, very interested to see what they develop going forward and any enhancements they make 🙂
