Geeetech DP200 Release – Welcome To The Resin Race

The Geeetech DP200 hits the stores this month, the first resin printer from this manufacturer is sure to make a splash. Using LCD light curing, a 3.5-inch touch screen, 2Gb RAM and 8Gb of storage space of which as a result is plenty of room to store repeat prints. That is to say; it’s not short of features!

Geeetech DP200Firstly, The Geeetech DP200 LCD light-curing printing technology is more accurate, simpler in structure and faster in printing speed than conventional FDM printers.

 

Secondly, it comes with a slicing function built-in and access via the touch screen and Wi-Fi connectivity. Further, other functions included in the Geeetech DP200 are the model preview, resizing and editing and a zoom function. After that, with its build volume of 115*65*150mm3, it should meet the needs of most builders. Besides, it also has the role of pausing printing, which is user-friendly and convenient.

Geeetech DP200Priced at $469 its priced to compete with the AnyCubic Photon for example, however at the time of writing the Photon was on sale for a wallet opening $279.

As a result, if you’re interested in experimenting with resin 3D printing, or just on a budget, there are plenty of affordable options on the market. Above all, it has all the features of a more expensive machine in addition to the back up of a brand name well known amongst 3D printing enthusiasts.

Final Thoughts on the Geeetech DP200

To sum up, I’ve had no real exposure to resin printing and researching the Geeetech DP200 has made me consider purchasing one to have a play. In conclusion, for Sub $500, I can’t go far wrong on a machine that’s loaded with features.
