Most LCD 3D printers have a standard 5.5-inch 2k resolution screen. As a result, the pixel size becomes 47.25 um. SO what will be the impact on the resolution if a 4k screen is used instead. The resolution will increase with 4k LCD and it will improve the resolution size to 31.5 um in the XY direction. Whereas, in the Y direction the resolution will improve to 10.5 um.
Improvement of LCD Screen
The LCD screen has improved with a cover of glass on top. This further increases the life of the screen and keeps it protected from the effects of the environment. The quality of the LCD screen is also important when used with the upgraded mode of operation as a mono 3d printer.
Currently, the Longer Orange 4K will be compatible with LongerWare, Chitubox and Lychee. Therefore, users will have a straightforward choice to choose from. Also, Slicers are easy to use for many users.
Orange 4K color printer offers a mono screen upgrade. However, you will need to upgrade the firmware first before the up-gradation. Once the mono 3D printer option is enabled, you can print with up to 600 mm/h for your innovative 3D prints.
The Kickstarter program is on the roll. After 2019’s Kickstarter program, the printer might become one of the most popular resin 3D printers in the market very soon. Currently USD 62,222 has been raised, which surpasses the pledged amount of 50 grand. This goes to show the popularity of the Kickstarter program and gives a very valid reason for you to invest in this amazing technology. If you want to be a part of the drive, you still have 26 days to go.
