The Nexa3D NXE400 is designed to be completely modular for ease of changing parts and upgrades. As a result, this means obsolete technology would be a thing of the past.
The Nexa3D NXE400 has a much larger build volume compared to current models that are out there. It is more than double the size of existing build volumes! Besides, this allows for much bigger prints, and also a more significant number of part throughput, meaning a much lower cost.
How does it work?
Firstly, the base of the Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing process is a uniform light source. It is made through a mixture of a UV light array and the LSPc optical layer. Secondly, this light is projected through the LSPc HC Mask, which is designed to adjust and project the light to the appropriate areas of the vat. As a result, this is where photopolymerization for the print job is taking place layer by layer. The last part of the process involves the LSPc membrane, which creates a no-stick zone between the cured part and vat. This also allows the resin to quickly spread across the entire vat and ensure there is enough resin between each layer.
Well, it’s not cheap…$60,000 is the price you’d expect to pay for Nexa3D NXE400. Probably not the best investment for the hobbyist; however, in a manufacturing business, this would be ideal!
